I read most of Molly MacRae's yarn series and enjoyed them."My Troubles" was my introduction to Margaret and Bitsy. I loved these short stories and was sorry to see them end. This led me to look further and I was glad to see there was more of Margaret and Bitsy in "Lawn Order." I just finished reading it and am glad I did. It was funny, sad at times. I loved the tidbits of history I learned about Tennessee.
I enjoyed getting to know the history of the characters, how Margaret and Gene met, the history behind the bookstore, cousin Leona's background, etc...
Molly MacRae never disappoints. I highly recommend "Lawn Order." If you are already a fan, you won't be disappointed. If you are not a fan yet, you will surely become one.

This is a well-written story with characters one makes friends with! It's full of wit, even when the story gets a bit dark. After I read it, it stayed on my mind, and the only way out was just to read it again!
As I read the last few words of Lawn Order, I found myself smiling. This was such an enjoyable mystery and I'm not a huge mystery fan. I found the characters to be the kind of people you know, can identify with, and like. This book had humor and I just kept guessing how it would all end up. And I love a book that makes me smile in the end! I highly recommend Lawn Order . . . it's a good one!

A great laugh out loud book! Really fun characters! Also a very quirky plot. What more can I say but don't miss out on this one? !
I am always looking for humor in mysteries. And seldom finding it. Mysteries that think of themselves as funny seldom are - unfortunately.
From the first page I was chuckling!! I dearly hope this author continues this series.
So great to find a well written, humorous mystery with characters you like (Margaret, Gene, Leona) and ones you willingly dislike (Bitsy).

I love Molly Macray's series of The Haunted Yarn Shop" series, but this one was to much trivial conversation & descriptive background information which I felt took away from the story. Loving her books as I did, I bought the other two of this series. I really hope this isn't her new genre (writing style).
