It's especially intriguing for those who know and love the geographic areas where the action takes place. You can visualize exactly where they are which enriches the story even more. There's something about this book that makes you feel a little smarter when you read it. The novel is based on a little-known scientific theory that is explained so succinctly and with such ease, you wish college physics had been this easy. I don't know if it is true, but it certainly sounds that way. The description is beautiful and weaves easily into the story. It's science fiction, yes, but it's not really about the technology, but the people whose lives are inextricably linked by this one event. It's interesting to watch how these people start out thinking they know how the world works and their spot in it, and how within the first few pages everything changes because of this one event. There are some really deep dark things going on here, some really great characterization.
It's a mystery that isn't what you think. A gripping suspense great read of a book that you don't want to end. I loved it! A great thriller that I am recommending to my friends.

Bee House Rising is one of those books you'd like your friends to read so that you can discuss the story without ruining the end for them. Three days of action in the book leading to....maybe a movie someday?! I'd love to see it in the theatre.
A great read, Keby Boyer has a wonderful facility with the language and makes Sci-Fi both interesting and almost a new genre. I am not (normally) a big Sci-Fi fan but I highly recommend this book. I particularly enjoyed how Boyer felt free to leave the "other" world to our imagination and not get bogged down in the arcane "facts" of a distant universe. Read Bee House you will not regret it.
I have worked in the film business. I wish someone had given me a script as good as this book. Let me make myself perfectly clear...I loved this book! Love, love, love this book! I really got caught up in the characters. They are so real and the dialogue is so well written. Would someone please find me a Jack! I could not put the story down; I read the whole book in 2 sittings. I really recommend this to anyone who likes to get lost in a great story. I'm sending copies to all my friends. So when's the next one? I want to know what happened to everyone who stayed behind!
This book is one of my favs, definitely fun and full of action, intrigue, some romance, hot alien guy, and some competent writing. It's the story of a group of people and how a crashed alien saucer changes all their lives. OK, that's a little simple, but it's hard to say much and not give away the story. It's a great story and full of surprises. You think you know where the writer is headed, and then you find out you were all wrong. Plan to read the last 100 pages in a locked room because you will NOT be able to put it down. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a little sci fi mixed with a good thriller.
Talk about made for the silver screen! This book is an amazing read, and that's saying something because i'm not much of a reader. The author paints the image so well that there will be no 3d needed here. As you begin to read this novel, you quickly start to see, smell, and feel the enviornment all around you. The characters are very well developed and wrap you around their finger right from the start. Please do yourself a favor and read this book! I would bet my money that this will be in theatres soon!
